Lucky Charms was always the best cereal until it eventually would become the worst (the second the marshmallows were gone). Coating the entire thing in candy easily fixes this problem. This is basically one of those classic Pinterest gimmicks.
White chocolate! Sprinkles! Mason jar!
Just kidding about the jar, although it would make an efficient airtight container...
WHAT YOU NEED:
1 regular box Lucky Charms
1/2 box Rice Chex
2 bags (12 oz. each) white chocolate chips
- In the biggest bowl you own, mix together both cereals. Set aside. Lay a few sheets of parchment or wax paper on your counters.
- Melt white chocolate in microwave, stirring regularly until smooth. Pour over cereal mixture and stir until evenly coated.
- Dump coated cereal onto prepared counters, using a spatula to pat down into a single layer. Dust liberally with sprinkles. Let harden for 20 minutes, then break into smaller pieces. Store in an airtight container.
