In case you need to make a birthday treat for a bunch of seven-year-olds.
WHAT YOU NEED:
6 cups fruity pebbles
1 bag (10 oz.) miniature marshmallows
3 tablespoons butter
- Liberally coat a pan with nonstick spray. I usually use an 8-inch square, but 9x13 works too for thinner treats.
- In a large bowl, measure out cereal. Set aside.
- Add butter and marshmallows to a large microwavable container. Microwave in 15-30 second bursts, stirring after each, until completely melted and smooth. Pour over cereal and stir until coated. It helps tremendously if your spatula is also coated with nonstick spray.
- Firmly press mixture into prepared pan, using a fork or your hands - either coated with nonstick spray. Allow to set for 30 minutes before slicing into bars.
