PEANUT BUTTER PIE WITH OREO CRUST

In case you need something to bring to a BBQ, or you know, eat out of the freezer in your underwear.

WHAT YOU NEED:

25 Oreos

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened

1 1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 package (8 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed

HOW TO:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Crush the Oreos until they are fine crumbs, and stir in melted better until combined. Press mixture into a pie pan, and bake for 5-7 minutes. Let cool while you make the filling.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat together peanut butter and cream cheese using an electrix mixture until light and fluffy. Add powdered sugar, followed by Cool Whip, beating until smooth. Poor mixture into crust, using a spatula to even out the top. Refrigerate for at least an hour before slicing.
